FLUFFY PART 3. The penultimate chapter of the FLUFFY series is set in Catania in Sicily, any hopes that Michael had of finding peace in the bosom of his family are quickly dashed. There
are plenty of family tensions and misunderstandings as well as a tender moment as Fluffy makes a profound realisation. Available late March, to pre-order email Simone.

EXHIBIT. Tom has three pieces in the forthcoming exhibition WORDS IN PICTURES at the Adam Baumgold Gallery, New York City which runs March 9th until April 2nd. He also has a new piece which forms part of the PRIMORDIAL INK: Frame by Frame showcase at The MATCH Bar (37-38 Margaret St, London W1) which runs 7th March to 2nd April (closed Sundays).

OUT. STURGEON WHITE MOSS 5 is out now and features a new story by Tom.

JANUARY 2005

TRIP. Simone and Tom wil both be attending the ANGOULEME COMICS FESTIVAL 2005 in France at the end of the month.

NICE. THREE VERY SMALL COMICS volume 2 has been reviewed and chosen as one of the year's Top 40 Comics on Tom Spurgeon's excellent COMICS REPORTER website.

CAVEMEN. Tom's comic strip HUNTER AND PAINTER is in the GALLERY now.

FLUFFY ET PAPA. parts One and Two will be published in French by Editions De L'an 2 which will be launched at the Angouleme Comic Festival in January.

INSTALLEZ-VOUS EN VILLE. BULB comics have published a French language version of MOVE TO THE CITY (a weekly comic strip which Tom drew for Timeout in 2002) in a beautiful 48 page book with screenprinted cover. UK customers can buy a copy from us for £10.

DECEMBER 2004

NEWS FLASH Tom is hurriedly drawing HUNTER AND PAINTER which will appear on weekdays in The Guardian from 20th December to 7th January, while Steve Bell is on holiday.

FIGHT! Tom has designed a set of three badges for website boutique STEREOHYPE. And there are a couple of new images in his shed.

NOVEMBER 2004

SEQUEL. THREE VERY SMALL COMICS volume 2 is available to order now and will be in shops soon. OUR HERO BATTLES TWENTY-SIX ALPHABETICISED TERRORS is available as an offset litho limited edition print for £30 (inc p+p).

FLUFFY. Simone is working on FLUFFY part Three which is scheduled for release in early 2005.

ERGOT. KRAMERS ERGOT 5 (see September) is out now.

OCTOBER 2004

NORMAL. Tom will be exhibiting in the group show NORMAL at the SEA Gallery, 70 St John Street, London, EC1M 4DT. The show runs 3rd to 18th November 10am - 5pm (closed weekends). Artwork for THREE VERY SMALL COMICS volume 2 will be on show.

SHOW. There is new work in the GALLERY.

SPX. Excellent comic artist Mark Burrier will be selling GUARDIANS OF THE KINGDOM at the Small Press Expo, he says "I will be at SPX in Bethesda, Maryland (October 1-3) at a table with Anders Nilsen whose amazing new book "Dogs And Water" is debuting there. Everything on this site plus original art, a book by Tom Gauld and some comics by Sammy Harkham will be for sale at the table. We're in the Washington room next to Drawn & Quarterly, Highwater Books, and Bries."

SEPTEMBER 2004

ERGOT. Tom's WRITER AT WORK series will be reprinted as part of KRAMERS ERGOT 5 edited by Sammy Harkham and published by GINKGO PRESS. The book features work by many top artists and will be out in November.

B.ü.L.b. Swiss comic publisher BULB have brought out their summer catalogue, including 2W BOX SET L which features a tiny comic by Tom. Later this year they will also be publishing a french language version of an updated...

JUNE 2004

MOCCA. Tom will be at the MOCCA comic festival in New York City on the 26th and 27th of June, selling copies of all our books.

MAY 2004

ART. Simone has produced a series of paintings called THE CARROT AND THE SAUSAGE, inspired by the Bible story of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector, they will be shown at DRAWN INTO THE LIGHT an exhibition of Christian Art at The Old Saint Patrick's School, Dundee Street, Wapping E1W. It runs from the 29th of May until the 3rd of June 2004 and is open 11am - 6pm (29th to 31st of May) then 10am - 4pm (1st to 3rd of June).

BALLPOINT. Tom has contributed a new drawing to the exhibition BALLPOINT "An exhibition by artists, illustrators and designers invited to make an artwork using only ballpont pen" at the PENTAGRAM gallery from 24th May to 25th June. The drawing will also appear in our gallery soon, and may form part of THREE VERY SMALL COMICS Volume 2.

SWEETCORN RETURNS. Simone has made created a new comic for the first issue of AMELIA'S MAGAZINE

WORK IN PROGRESS. Simone is continuing to work on Chapter 2 of FLUFFY and developing a new children's book meanwhile Tom is creating new stories for the collections LISTEN and STURGEON WHITE MOSS 5, and starting a new comic book.

BEER MAT. Tom has produced artwork which will appear on beer mats in the exhibition 95mm2 during March.
